You have done so much in a short space of time. The time is right for you to take the next step, you should stand as a INDEPENDENT candidate at the next ellection for MP for Ashton and Makerfield. It is time for change and that time is now. I for one would support you as a lot of other people would to. There is to much sleeze in politics today and we want somebody that acts for the people and notfor there own interests or that of a big party.
It is important that all of you build upon what you have done as independents, you are all an insparation. See what can be done with hard work and an organised and targeted campaign not just a win by a few votes but by large margins. You have the spring board to go further and achieve even more.I look forward to more and bigger victory's.

I have removed the Blog on the 6th May after it was pointed out to me that my use of the word caution could be misconstrued.
This was not intended to imply that Nigel Ash had received a formal police caution.
I should have been more explicit when using the contents of a Crown Prosecution Service letter which stated "I shall write to the police asking that Mr. Ash and ******* be provided with suitable advice as to ensure the factual accuracy of statements made in their election literature".
I am sorry if anyone feels that they have been misled by my use of the word caution instead of warning or advice, as there was no intention on my part to mislead.

you certainly deserve this excellent result after all the hard work you three Councillors have done over the last three weeks before the election.
The three of you are so enthusiastic and I am so proud of you and glad to be a part of your 'team'
